As a waitress, you win $10 million from a lottery ticket you received as a tip. Normally tips are pooled but you kept this one. Do you share the money? If I didn't share it, I wouldn't be able to tell anybody that I won the money (unless I just didn't tell them how I got the ticket.) If I do decide to share it, everyone would expect an equal portion. Hmmmmmm. I'm not sure I can answer this question honestly. I would like to say, "Oh sure! Of course I'd share it." But realistically, I would MUCH rather share it with my family. So I guess my final answer is no. *sigh* Your dad's dying wish is to be buried in his homeland. The expense will take most of your inheritance. Do you obey the request? I believe I would. First of all, before he died I didn't HAVE the inheritance money, so I guess if that's what my father wanted me to do, I would do it. I wouldn't miss the money (that I didn't have in the first place anyway.) You own a supermarket. Genetically altered fruits and vegetables are popular but no one knows for sure if the are safe. Do you sell them? HECK no! Unless they have been tested and retested, I would never sell them to the public, not knowing what possible adverse effects could result from it. I sure as heck wouldn't want to be resonsible for ONE person's illness (or maybe worse) let alone many! Questions from: Saturday Scruples 1. Cold frosty ski slopes or warm sandy beach? Warm sandy beach! I have no desire to visit a cold frosty ski slope! 2. Chevy or Ford? Well, I own a Ford, so Ford it is! 3. Mac or PC? PC of course. 4. Dial-up or high speed internet access? High speed; I hope I never have to live without that. 5. Small *family-only* wedding or large 200+ guest wedding? I'm not a big fan of crowds, so small "family only" would be my choice. 6. Would you rather be the bridesmaid or the bride? (if you are a guy, substitute best man or groom) At this point, bridesmaid. 7. AC/DC or ABBA? ABBA. I have one of their cd's! 8. Roses or daisies? Roses are nice, don't get me wrong. Daisies because they are more "down to earth." 9. Trashy romance novels or classic literature? Actually, neither. I read novels, but not trashy romance ones. 10. NEW! Thought-provoking question of the week...If you had to choose one...would you rather be blind or deaf? Why? IF I had to choose, I guess I would say deaf. I really cherish my eyesight. There is so much beauty around us. Questions from: This or That Tuesday ~ Friday, March 21, 2003
GOTTA do something with this template! Not real fond of the boring layout and colors! Plus, forgot to add a link here. Visit Bloggerseeds. I think you'll enjoy your visit! 1. If you had the chance to meet someone you've never met, from the past or present, who would it be? Mother Theresa.........I bet there was an instant 'peacefulness' in her presence. 2. If you had to live in a different century, past or future, which would it be? I think the 1960's. It was a good era.......maybe too many drugs and stuff, but I wouldn't be one to get caught up in that. It seems the "more advanced" we get, the more problems we create. 3. If you had to move anywhere else on Earth, where would it be? That's a good question......haven't really been anywhere significant. I'm going to say England. Why? Don't know. 4. If you had to be a fictional character, who would it be? The Pillsbury Dough Boy.........he's always happy. 5. If you had to live with having someone else's face as your own for the rest of your life, whose would it be? Ashley Judd. Not too "cute" and not "model-beautiful" either. Questions from: Friday Five You're the coach on a kid's soccer team. In the finals do you let the bad players get much field time? I would because I feel sports (especially kid's sports) should be played for fun! ALL kids should get a chance to play. As a dental hygienist, you see the dentist fondling a patient who's "asleep" in the chair. the dentist doesn't see you. Do you tell the patient? Yes. But I also tell the dentist what I saw. I couldn't know something like that without telling the victim. You gave the wrong directions to a tourist family. They've already walked two blocks. Do you chase after them? Of course! because I would appreciate the same in return. Questions from: Saturday Scruples I started this blog in August 2002. I finally know what I'm going to use it for. Thanks to Windy, I have discovered several blogs that have daily questions (some of which actually make you think about things.) I thought it would be fun to participate so here I am. In order to participate, you should post your answers on your blog and leave a comment on the blog where you found the questions....... We'll see how it works..... |
