Saturday Scruples:

1. You're late for a meeting but your path is blocked by an endless funeral procession. You see a gap. Do you dart through it?
No way! I guess I'd just have to be late for that meeting. I'm not going to say I wouldn't be very frustrated, but I still would wait until they passed.

2. The teacher asks if you wrote your son's history essay. Your son claimed he did it but the teacher's right. Do you admit it?
Well, first of all, I wouldn't write my kids' essay (I may HELP.) But if I did write it and the teacher confronted me, I will have to say that I think I would lie to the teacher. But you can bet me and my kid would be having a talk about 'what we both learned from this.'

3. The only other occupants of the sauna are an attractive young couple giving each other a massage. They offer to include you. Do you accept?
No. I say, "Let them massage away!" (by themselves.....)

Friday Five's:

1. What was the first band you saw in concert?
The Freeland Band; no seriously, a famous band? Well when we were kids, we went to see the Saginaw Symphony (I think that's what it was called). Does that count? But FAMOUS one: The first concert I went to see was "Commodores." They were good before Lionel Richie went off on his own.

2. Who is your favorite artist/band now?
I like Celine Dion. There's lots of music that I like, and all kinds but I think I pretty much have all her cd's.

3. What's your favorite song?
I don't have a favorite song. You know, I have a 'favorite song of the week/month and then my favorite song changes; sometimes just because you hear it so much on the radio. But I think there's a lot of good music out there.

4. If you could play any instrument, what would it be?
I would play the flute. I used to play (acutally, I still can play a little bit) and I think I was quite good; I'd really like to pick that thing up again and start practicing!

5. If you could meet any musical icon (past or present), who would it be and why?
Have you ever heard Hubert Laws play the flute?? I would LOVE to take flute lessons from him.

Thursday Thumb-Twiddlers:

1. If you could script the basic plot for the dream you will have tonight, what would it be?
I wouldn't want it to be too good a dream because then I'd wake up and realize it was only a dream...........but for sure not a scarey one! (This doesn't really answer the question, does it?) I guess it would be summer and I would be on vacation somewhere enjoying myself.

2. What one thing do you personally believe all people should do or experience at least once in their lifetime, just to say they've done it?
WORK!

3. If you knew it would, within twenty years, halve the incidence of violent crime, would you want to eliminate all physical violence from television and film?
Even if I didn't know it would, yes, I would want all the physical violence off the television and film. I do NOW! There is no need for it.

Wednesday What If's! (gotta get that url)

1. What if you could live inside of any book?
I would choose Mother Goose. Can you imagine all the fun you could have there?

2. What if you could live inside of any movie?
I would definitely be a Disney movie; maybe Peter Pan??

3. What if you could be any one person from history?
Susan B. Anthony

4. What if you could have lived during any one time in history?
These are hard questions.........hmmmm...........1960's.

5. What if you could write your own life -- how would it go?
I would be a successful graphics and web designer and work for myself!.......oh, and live to be at least 90.

Time to answer This or That Tuesday Questions...
1. Sexier (female)...Pamela Anderson or Jennifer Garner?
I don't know who Jennifer Garner is........and I don't think Pamela Anderson is sexy (too sleezy.) Sorry neither.

2. Sexier (male)...Ben Affleck or Matt Damon?
Ok, this is going to sound like a broken record, but here goes: Ben Affleck? The sexiest man in America? Get real! Matt Damon I guess.

3. The better piano player...Billy Joel or Elton John?
I've probably heard Elton John play more than I've heard Billy Joel, so I guess I'll choose him.

4. Funnier...David Letterman or Craig Kilborn?
Eewww! Craig Kilborn is a pervert! I love watching David Letterman (when I'm not on the internet at that time.) I like his sarcastic sense of humor.

5. The dumber cartoon cat...Stimpy (of *Ren & Stimpy*) or Tom (of *Tom & Jerry*)?
I've only seen Ren & Stimpy once I think cuz I think it's a stupid cartoon, so I'm voting for TOM!

6. A better news anchor...Tom Brokaw or Dan Rather?
Hmmmmmmm.........Tom Brokaw. (no other comments on this one!)

7. A better TV chef...Emeril Lagasse or Jacques Pepin?
Ok, now I feel REAL stupid! This would be a mere guess.............eeny meeny miny mo........Jacques sounds like a better chef.

8. The trashier talk show host...Maury Povich or Jerry Springer?
TRASH=Jerry Springer! You couldn't PAY me to watch that show!

9. The worse fast food burger joint...McDonald's or Burger King?
I think Burger King uses more real meat, so I would have to go with McDonald's.

10. Thought-provoking question of the week: Only a handful of U.S. Presidents have been considered to be *great* Of the following two, which one do you consider to be greater...Franklin D. Roosevelt or Abraham Lincoln? Why?
I really wasn't in the mood to answer any thought-provoking questions...............but I'll go with Abraham Lincoln. Why? Because he freed slaves. (I really AM intelligent, believe it or not........)

Whew! I'm glad that's over!

Monday Madness Questions of the Week:

1. If you could bring someone famous back from the grave, who would you choose? Why?I know I should be choosing someone way more famous or influential, but believe it or not, the first person who came to mind was Selena. You know, the young Mexican singer who was killed by her manager?? (They made a movie about her.) Anyway, like so many other people I could have chosen, she died way too young, and I think she would have made a big impact on how people feel about her music and her culture.

2. What have you tried in life, and simply were not good at?
Oh, a lot of things. But the one that comes to mind is being a manager. I make a better secretary than I do a manager. And I like it better. (I know; sounds kind of dumb, but that's my true feelings.)

3. Approximately how many times a day do you look at the clock? Where are you when you look at the clock the most?
I look at the clock WAY too many times a day. It doesn't matter if I'm at work or at home, I look at the clock probably about every hour (at least.) But the place I'm at when I look at the clock the most is probably at work. (At work the time goes too slow; at home it goes too fast.)
