Random Questions; Random Days....
"Let freedom ring..." Famous words from a famous song. What does freedom mean to you? Is it something you take for granted? What is being done to protect our freedoms? Or, just comment on freedom.
There are so many aspects of 'freedom.' I'm not sure I really take freedom for granted, but it's not something I think about all the time because I was born and raised (and still live) in the United States: a free country. Unlike many other people who have experienced the lack of freedom, I've always been fortunate enough to have this privilege. (Boy, not an easy question to answer!) I fear if I ramble on, I may sound like I'm just 'rambling.' So, I will conclude with this thought: Let's never forget how fortunate we are to live in a free country; never take it for granted and never take advantage of it. Have a good day; exercise your freedom of speech today, and BLOG!!!

What's On ..... Right Now?
What's On your mind Right Now?
Well, I just woke up from a nap.......got up REALLY early today because my daughter's class went to Cedar Point. I'm thinking about her and hoping (knowing) she's having a good time; wondering how Oprah got to be a millionaire; I don't really care for her since she started acting like she was 'all that.' (I was only thinking about that because I had the tv on for noise, and that's the channel it was on.) I guess the big thing that's on my mind right now is this: How is it that some people can 'slide' through a job without ever doing anything and get away with it??? I mean, I worked my butt off (I wish!) today and couldn't GET enough work done and my co-worker is in her office sleeping......and GETTING PAID for it! (AND, I might add; a LOT more money than I do!) I know I can't do anything about it but it will never stop bothering me. I had to do payroll checks today and while I was doing her's, I thought to myself, "Gee, how nice it would be to get paid that kind of money to do NOTHING!" Of course, immediately after having a thought like that, I think, "No, I wouldn't do that even if I could get away with it." I work for my money! AND I'm glad we were raised with good work ethics. But it still bothers me how she seems to collect a paycheck every other week and all she has to do is 'put in her time.' What to do........what to do..........I guess I have to let go of that because there is nothing I can do about it. I enjoy my job and I intend on keeping it. "Don't worry about what your neighbor is doing." I have no control over some things and I must learn to let go. So, that's what I was thinking about right now. Have a great Wednesday evening!

It's meme time..........today I am participating in 3..........

Random Questions; Random Days
Humor is good for the soul. What is the funniest thing you ever saw or did?
Hmmmm.........the only thing that comes to mind at this moment is a movie I just saw the other day, "How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days." That movie will have you rolling around in laughter! I definitely recommend it.

Monday Madness
1. What is/was your favorite subject in school? Your least favorite?
My favorite subject was always Math. I like numbers! My least favorite; History. Yuck! Of course, it helps if you have a good teacher. All we ever did was memorize dates, people, places, etc. BORING!!

2. What was the most difficult assignment you ever had to do in school? What was it that made it so difficult?
In High School, I don't remember an exceptionally difficult assignment (I'm sure there were some.) But in college, I remember having to do a speech in front of my class and I was SO nervous! Plus, I never had to speak in front of the class in high school, so it made it all that much harder.

3. When it came time for tests/exams, did/do you get nervous? Did/do you study hard for them?
Of course I studied. I didn't stress out too much about tests though. I just studied and did my best. Was I nervous? Sometimes; depends on how well I though I knew the material.

QOTD
What is your favourite season, and why?
I think my favorite season is fall. Don't get me wrong; I like spring and summer too. But I LOVE the cool weather! I love wearing sweatshirts and sweaters.........I guess I just think it's a 'cozy' time of year.
