I am posting the last two days' questions here from random questions; random days.
Do cats really have 9 lives? Why do you think that saying came to be? What if we had more than one life?
I don't think cats have nine lives and I have no idea how that saying came to be. Now if you asked me how the saying, "Curiosity killed the cat." came to be, I could probably give you a good guess! I've told my cats that a million times! (Who's the dumb one; me or the cats?? They can't understand me!) What if we had 9 lives? That would be really weird. I can't even imagine that!

Write about your family.
My family is great! My family is big! I love my family!
My 'immediate family' (being me and my daughter), is wonderful too! I love her a whole lot! She's a good kid and a great student; so far I haven't had much to worry about; of course we're just getting into the teenage years; but I'm pretty confident that we've raised her with good solid morals. I could say a lot more; but that may be for another time.

I guess this question if from Monday, June 16th; from QOTD
What are your three favourite gadgets?
My 3 favorite gadgets are:
1. my computer (is that a gadget?)
2. my digital camera
3. my cell phone

And this week in T-T-T.....
written journal/online journal/audio journal
Treasure: I would have to say online journal
Try It: Hmmmm.... maybe audio journal?
Trash: written journal (although I do believe in still writing things on paper.)

I chose audio journal for try-it because I've never tried it; although I hate the sound of my voice on a recorder. Do I sound a bit wishy-washy???

This week in Monday Madness.................
1. If there was a national holiday in your honor, what day would it be and what would it be called?
A national holiday in my honor; how flattering! It would be on my birthday I think; that's May 22. It would be called "National Get Along With EVERYONE Day!" I know; that's almost as bad as wishing for world peace, eh? But just one day; one day out of the whole year; could we just all get along????

2. If you could give your current home a name, what would it be and why?
Nothing fancy; just "Small But Grand." No, it's not grand in the USUAL sense of the word, but it is grand to us. And yes, it is quite small.

3. When is the last time you cleaned out your "junk drawer?" What kinds of things do you find in it and ask yourself, "WHY did I ever save this???"
Of course this is an easy one for me cuz I wrote the question! I JUST cleaned out my junk drawer on Saturday night. I found all KINDS of stuff that made me ask "WHY?" Plus, do you know anyone that needs an adapter??? I have a dozen in that drawer!!!! Don't know what they're to! But I saved them anyway (what's wrong with this picture?)

I'm posting my answers for the last THREE DAYS at random questions; random days...........(been busy!!!??!!!)
Ancient Greek and Roman gods were often associated with symbols that represented them in paintings. What animal or object do you think would make a fitting symbol of yourself? Explain your answer. Today's question comes from a book called "Art JOurnal Topics" by Terri Tarr-Schweitzer
A race car??? I don't know. Sometimes it feels like I'm driving in the 'fast lane' more than I'm not. That's just the first thing that came to mind. No, I'm not talking about one of those 'sleek' cars...........I only picked that because it's something that goes fast.

Each day brings us a chance to do better and to make good. It is as though our slate has had the smudges of yesterday wiped out. ~L Bevan Jones
Please comment on the quote.
I believe that no matter how many mistakes we've made, there is always a chance at success! Also, I think it's important to put the past behind us. Too often we tend to dwell on the past and it DOES affect us at present and usually in the future. Let GO!!! Wipe your slate clean! Start anew!!

When was the last time you moved? What if you were "the new kid on the block?" Describe how you might feel before meeting your new neighbors. OR List 10 ways to make new friends. OR Write about a moving experience. OR About how you feel about moving, and why you haven't recently!
Wow! Lots of OR's!!!! Ok, so we have a choice here. Maybe I'll just comment on all of them that pertain to me. "When is the last time you moved?" I moved here just over two years ago; actually Memorial Day weekend. And I WAS the new kid on the block. I didn't meet my new neighbors; well, I met the woman that lives upstairs. She happens to be the landlord's sister. She's very nice. I'm going to skip the '10 ways to make new friends' thing and move on to the next part. How I feel about moving.........this time it was a very positive experience for my daughter and me. Why? Nice neighborhood, a good friend of mine 5 houses down, close to work, a nice house with a good sized back yard. (We get the whole downstairs and the other lady gets the upstairs; our own entrance; and she NEVER uses the yard.) We have definitely made this place our home! Some of my other experiences with moving haven't been so great but that's in the past!! (see question above.) Ok. I am going to let random questions; random days know that I posted my answers. I'll be back tomorrow!!
