AND today's (well, actually yesterday's now) question from random questions.................... If you could meet any artist living or dead, who would you choose to meet and why? NOT an easy question!! There are a lot of artists I'd like to meet! Celine Dion is one; Michaelangelo (sp?) another; ummm, I said a lot, right? Well, I'm drawing a blank now. I wouldn't mind meeting any famous artist that I enjoy hearing sing or seeing in movies! Why? I just think it would be cool to meet someone famous. ~ Wednesday, July 02, 2003
Here's this week's question at What's On .... Right Now?: (no one seems to want to answer this one!) What's On your top 10 favorite cd's list Right Now? (in no particular order) ~Celine Dion: One Heart ~Santana: Shaman ~Shakira: Laundry Service ~No Doubt: Rock Steady ~Firefall: Greatest Hits ~Matchbox 20: Yourself Or Someone Like You ~Celine Dion: Let's Talk About Love ~Stylistics: Best Of ~Phil Collins: Greatest Hits ~Celine Dion: A New Day Has Come There! Not easy, but done! (I don't have many new cd's but I like the old stuff!) ~ Monday, June 30, 2003
Why must I sign in twice when wanting to add an entry here???? Anyone???? Just for the record, I answered the Unconscious Mutterings for Sunday BUT when I went to 'post and publish' I got an alert asking me if I wanted to post this entry or not.........of course I said OK!! It was supposed to post it but NO, it disappeared into 'blogger heaven' or maybe not heaven but somewhere! SO, needless to say, I didn't feel like redoing the thing and I didn't. I wasn't a happy camper! Ok, now on to Monday Madness....................... 1. In your opinion, what is the perfect daytime temperature; nighttime temperature? While you're at it, what's your favorite season? I think a perfect daytime temp would be 70-72 degrees F. Anything warmer, well, I start getting cranky. Perfect nighttime temp would be 55-60 degrees F. I love to cover up at night and be comfortable! My favorite season is spring or fall. I love the cool air! 2. Do you think the seasons of the year have anything to do with your mental attitude? Do you tend to get sick more often in any particular season? I think the seasons CAN affect my mental attitude, but probably mostly my physical attitude. I tend to eat more in the winter than the warmer weather too. I can honestly say (knock on wood) that I don't usually GET sick! So, it doesn't matter the season. 3. Which season do you feel you are more physically active? I guess summer. I'm not really all that physically active any season but summer because the weather permits us to go outdoors more; but not only that, there are more activities going on in the summer. .....and one more just for the heck of it..... 4. Would you rather have to deal with staying warm or staying cool? I would MUCH rather have to deal with staying warm. I don't care for air conditioning. I love to have my windows open and have fresh air! So, if it's too hot out, the windows close, the air goes on. BUT, it it's too cold out, I can always put my slippers on and a nice warm sweatshirt. I LOVE sweatshirt/sweater weather! (You can ask a couple members of my family; they'll tell you that my house is a bit on the 'cold' side.) Today's question at Random Questions; Random Days............ Today's question was inspired by the book, "Dates with the Greats" by Susan Ohanian On this day in 1964, Maurice Sendak accepts the Caldecott Medal for his book, "Where the Wild Things Are." He states the book is not meant to please everybody - only children. What is your favorite childhood book? Do you still have a favorite children's book author? If so, who, and why? My favorite books when I was a kid were Dr. Seuss books. I LOVE those! I think I still do! Not only are they fun to read, they help a child learn to read by using the same word/s over and over; but in a good way! The one that comes to mind specifically is "Green Eggs and Ham." (I MISS Dr. Seuss books!) |
