I'm answering some memes tonight. First of all, we have random questions................ Remember when you were a kid? We got away with asking all sorts of "Why?" questions. What is something you wonder about now? I wonder a LOT of things! I may wonder more now than I did as a kid! But you know what I really wonder about? WHY can't people just accept other people for who they are instead of always judging them. That's what I probably wonder about the most. (this next part was added later.) I just thought of another thing that I wonder about (after I saw what this blog looks like.) WHY don't people come here???? (yeah, trying to get your sympathy.) But I really do wonder. I guess I'm just big on comments. I'm a big commenter. Oh well, life is such. What is your favorite summer time treat? If needed feel free to provide the recipe! I LOVE ice cream sandwiches!! The recipe? Go to your local grocer and buy the biggest box you can find!! Now for a bit of what's on................ What's On your living room wall Right Now? First of all, I don't have many things on any of my living room walls, so I'll tell ya what's on all of them. Now on my 'dining room' (what we use as our computer room) walls; that's a different story! Here ya go........ ~a big pretty 3-part mirror with a beautiful design on it ~ a huge painting of some pretty flowers ~ 2 candle thingies (don't know what the official name is) ~ 2 small mirrors framed in wood ~ a small wooden shelf with 2 candles and a little picture that says, "God gave us memories so that we could have sunshine everyday." That's about it! And I covered all 3 walls! The 4th one doesn't really exist. It just opens up into our 'dining room.' ~ Monday, July 07, 2003
This week at Monday Madness......... 1. Have you ever used duct tape to "quick-fix" something? If so, what? I've used duct tape to fix a lot of things. The most recent use is to make sure there are absolutely no air coming in from the window that we put the air conditioner in. 2. Can you name 5 unique uses for duct tape? (Be nice! Be creative too!) Challenge yourself to try and name some things that other people may not think of. Actually, I better really think about this cuz I've already visited some of my friends' sites and read their answers...........SO, let's give it a try. ~patch up a hole in a pocket (did it!) ~fix the plastic shower curtain where it goes into the hooks (did it!) ~hold a headlight in place (didn't do it!) ~hold up a muffler (didn't do it!) ~patch up an extension cord (did it, but don't YOU do it!!) 3. Have you found any product that's a good substitute for duct tape? If so, please share! Of course not!! It is in a class all its own! Now for a little bit of Explorer Your house is on fire. Your family, loved ones and pets are already rescued and safe. You have already retrieved the necessary documents you may need to claim on insurance. You have time to run back inside and recover one item from your house before it becomes too dangerous. What would you go back for, and why? In general, how much "stuff" do you have, and how important is it to you? I don't think I would go back for anything, but if I had to choose one thing I'd go back for; my kid is safe and my pets are safe, eh? I would probably grab my purse. I always know right where it's at and I guess outside of my kid; number one, and the cats, that would be the most valuable to me. How much stuff do I have? A lot! But nothing important enough to risk my life over!! AND I'm going to answer today's Random Question... too! What inspired you to keep an on line journal? Do you, or did you journal in a book? My Mom inspired me to start an online journal. She was the one that discovered this place and shared it with all of us. Thank you, Mom!! I tried keeping a written journal once but didn't ever know what to write. It didn't last. I know it's a very good idea to have a written journal as well, but I'm not good at writing down my thoughts on paper. That's all folks!! |
