Random Questions......................(yesterday and today)

What are you doing this holiday weekend?
I'm going to my parents' cabin. We will be home the whole day on Monday; maybe I'll clean my house. But for Saturday and Sunday, I know we'll have fun!

I love this quote from Eleanor Roosevelt: "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent." Please comment.
I believe this statement to be true. We can only allow people to make us feel bad; or we can choose not to let it affect us!

Now for today's Monday Madness..............
1. What is your favorite form of art, and why?
My favorite form of art at this time is photography; digital photography. Oh but wait! I LOVE making graphics on my computer; that's art, right? So I will say both of those.

2. What, in your opinion, is your greatest artistic talent?
Hmmmm. Probably making graphics on the computer. Most of what I make is my very own creations; either I use photos that I've taken with my digital camera, or I draw the graphics myself using PSP 7. As you can see on some of my blinkies, I've given into using other people's clipart too.

3. If you were given a blank canvas and some oil paints, what would you paint?
Oh my gosh! What WAS I thinking when I wrote these??? I can't paint! I guess I would try to paint some inanimate object; maybe a flower or something.

4. What is your favorite subject to photograph?
Nature.

5. Are you musically inclined? Please elaborate!
I can play the flute a little bit. I used to be much better at it; of course I haven't played it in a while. I used to play at church every week. I've thought about getting back into that one of these days..........

And last, but not least, Random Questions...............
Do you buy lottery tickets? Have you ever won anything significant?
(Gee Windy. Wonder what prompted THIS question!) *smile*
I could count on one hand how many times I've spent money buying lottery tickets. I bought one once about 10 years ago and I don't even know why. I just had this number in my head and I was talking to someone about lottery tickets. I said the number out loud to her; something like, "With my luck, I'd play 1285, and 3467 would come out." So guess what I did on my way home from work? I played that number. It came out and I won 41 dollars!! THAT, my friend, is a true story!! Oh, I always buy the raffle tickets for our bazaars, both at my church and the church I work for. They sell them for $1.00 each or 12 tickets for $10.00. I won $100.00 one year at the bazaar! Cool, eh?
